At ZiTEL, our top priority is providing reliable fiber internet service to the communities we serve. Following Sunday's severe storm, a fallen tree damaged an Appalachian Power (AEP) utility pole on Goodview Road. AEP has since completed the replacement of the damaged pole, and we have now received authorization to transfer our fiber infrastructure to the new pole.
To complete this necessary work safely and restore the integrity of our network, ZiTEL crews will perform emergency fiber maintenance tomorrow.
